I hope this message finds you well, I don't really care to update my Macbook pro but I need to download the 10.14.0 version for school, I currently have the 10.13.6 version and I tried downloading the 10.14.1 version from the App Store but my laptop wouldn't allow me. I then found this platform and there were links for the 10.14.0 but it stated that the link had been damaged. I would really appreciate help with this. thank you in advance !
I cannot upgrade to MOJAVE. After spending a lot of time searching through Apple's download site, I contacted Apple support and they told me that I cannot download Mojave 10.14.0. That version has been removed from their download files. Other later versions are still available. However, I CANNOT INSTALL 10.14.4 OR 10.14.6 without first installing 10.14.0. Are there any non Apple sites that make that 10.14.0 download available?????
Wondering how to download and install macOS 10.14 Mojave? We're here to help. While it's been almost four years since Apple first unveiled macOS Mojave back in 2018, it remains a popular operating system for a lot of people using Macs purchased post-2012.
Before you download and install macOS 10.14 Mojave, you'll want to make sure your computer is compatible. If you purchased a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air from mid-2012 onwards, you're good to go. For the iMac, you're looking at late 2012 and for the standard MacBook, it will need to be 2015 or newer to be able to run Mojave.
The process for downloading and installing macOS 10.14 Mojave is no small task, but if you follow the advice and guidance below, you'll find it easy to get the job done. Before you begin to download the macOS 10.14 Mojave, you should make sure your Mac can run the software. Apple has said that macOS 10.14 will run on every Mac released from 2012 onwards, which means if you have Macs from before then, you're out of luck.
I showed you how to download the macOS installer through the Mojave Mac App store. The thing is, a better way to download the full installer exists and is called installinstallmacos.py. I was going to explain how to use installinstallmacos.py here but now realize the topic deserves a full article. I did not even get into hardware specific (Forked) builds. As you can see we have a lot to go over, so stay tuned. I will put the link here when complete.
Fortunately, firmware flashing does not require updating in a particular order. I went from 138.0.0.0.0 to 144.0.0.0.0 without any problems. There's several avenues for this, including the Mac App store, but when I used the Mac App Store route, I didn't get the combined OS installer (The Mojave installer + all the updates to Mojave). The easiest way to obtain the final combined update for Mojave is to use Dosdude1's installer. Much like before, download the OS DosDude1's installer, even though we have supported hardware but with the patcher for 10.14.
I followed this link ( -us/HT201475) and manually downloaded Mojave from App Store. After installation, I found my mac is in Mojave 10.14.3 instead of the latest 10.14.4. I wonder why App Store didn't download the latest Mojave?
My Macbook Pro Mid 2014 is currently on macOS Mojave 10.14 (18A389). I removed the developer profile from my computer so I can receive offical releases only. For some reason it is not letting me update to macOS 10.14.1 even though I am still on 10.14. Software Update in System Preferences says 10.14 is up to date and when I tried downloading the update from Apple, the installer gives me an error saying this volume does not meet the requirements for this update.
I was able to go to the App Store (under my previous Beta 10.14 that I removed the Beta Profile from) and download the full 6gb Mojave 10.14.1 Install. I didn't need a memory stick. I installed that on top (ran about an hour) and it completed fine. I now have a "normal" 10.14.1 Mojave Install. Fixed.

In addition, you can also download the install dmg from other file hosting or torrent sites. This method is a little risky unless you know the website you're downloading from. For example, some websites that offer direct downloads for macOS Mojave will actually give you version 10.14.1, which is an update rather than the full OS installer. Others might even just serve you the stub installer.
