Pages can be created with different sets of controls and tool icons; to create a new page, right-click on a currently selected page and choose New Page from the drop-down. To overcome these shortcomings, there’s a new 5.0 waveform layer that appears within Final Cut Pro X’s audio waveform window. The addition of waveform levels makes it possible to view two waveforms side-by-side by dividing each waveform into seven sections, and then by displaying a level for each of those sections.
